About the author

Joanne started out her coaching life by working for a company supporting accountants to improve their businesses.  Over the course of 10 years Joanne was inspired by several influential speakers, as well as many of the business owners she worked with. One of the challenges Joanne undertook was to study for a degree part time, whilst working in a full time job.  Her particular areas of focus during her studies were people and organisation management; leadership and the motivation of individuals in a small business.

This book is designed for the business owner that has so much to do and so little time, but yet still wants to know how to have happy employees and get the very best out of them. There are hundreds of books that you could read that will help you learn how to get the most from your employees. So Joanne created this book to give you the shortcut and to share with you the fundamentals you need to build an effective team, by drawing together all of her experience and research.
